Apparently, 4 p.m. was an excellent time to vote in my precinct here in KCMO. No line. Yay! When my sweetie went to vote at 6 a.m., he was in line for an hour. When he finished, the line was out the door, through the parking lot, and down the block.
I have elected not to participate in a con art show that I’ve been in for the past several years, for specific business reasons. In return for letting them know that I will not be needing space this year and the grounds on which I based my decision, I am receiving incredibly hateful emails containing personal attacks and other invectives… Given this response, I feel confident that I have made the right decision.
What’s the first sign of crazy cat lady syndrome?
