Lucky you – it’s still up around $3.70 here. I did get some gas at $2.89 in Joplin Monday morning on my way home from Fencon.

That’s got my side of town beat (well, as of last night anyway). It’s $2.92 most places, but Sam’s had it for (I think) $2.88.

I’m not kidding. I actually filled my tank! This morning it was 2.68 on Noland Road, I didn’t see whether it changed this afternoon though.

It’s politics. I bet the price stays low for the next month and then shoots right back up as soon as the election is past. So let’s take advantage of it while we can. At least we can get gas with no problem. Some parts of the Carolinas and Georgia have a major shortage.
