Have you met the new Doctor?

I thoroughly enjoyed the premier episode of the new Doctor Who on BBCA last weekend, and looking forward to the remainder of the season.

And oh, BTW, Life on Mars fans — BBCA says they’re going to run Season 2 of “Ashes to Ashes”. I’ll believe it when I see it.

    I like that photo

because I lurves guinea pig lips. They have lips kind of like people, it’s pretty funny and amazing.

And it lets them appear to be having so much disapproval or approval, they purse them pretty well.

And if ever do NOT have predator pets, Guinea pigs are near the top of the list as pets to have. Hamsters are too. But not until I choose not to have cats. Which is probably never again…

Guinea pigs are cool. We had a small herd of them when I was growing up. Noisy smelly little rodents, but they have loads of charm.

This new series of Doctor Who is taking a little time to gel with me, but I like Matt Smith and Karen Gillan. Following David Tennant was always going to be the toughest role in TV, so we should all give him time to find his feet.

I hope they keep their promise about A2A

Not surprising — not only do we have a new Doctor and a new Companion, but a new producer, new intro, and new logo. (I saw an unrelated web ad with a blue recycling bin in it — and I did a double-take thinking it was a new Tardis!) They’ve certainly gone all out with the launching the “new” bit, haven’t they?
