Finally, time with my sweetie: Yesterday, we went to the Air Force Armament Museum and Gator Beach. These guys were NOT on my menu. (They had too much personality!) We had more shrimp. Yum. Tomorrow, it’s back to KC.

Okay, ya’ll. Just so you know, it was 50 degrees and rainy today in Fort Walton Beach. Feel better? (But I did buy shrimp fresh off the boat and steam it with a healthy dose of Old Bay seasoning. Yum.)
Remember what I said about job searches and plane tickets? I fielded a phone screen in the airport five minutes before boarding, and a longer phone interview this morning while sipping tea in my jammies. Keep ’em coming, folks! Now, I’m off to get sand between my toes…
