The gastroenterologist has released me back into the wild, with instructions to keep my fat intake low* and unsaturated, and to continue to take my 5 big honkin’ horse pills before  meals. He also suggested I switch from dairy to soy, but we’ll deal with that one meal at a time. I reserve the right to indulge in a small serving of Sheridan’s frozen custard once in a while.

*less than 25 grams of fat per day seems to work for me

*chuckles* Someone can stick a gun to my head and pull the trigger before I switch to soy and tofu. ^_~`

You know, my wife and I switched to soy milk and I was surprised to find I liked it better.

Hey, Goddess A! Soy’s not bad. We always have it in our house, because Jon Morgan prefers it to cow’s milk. I usually use the soy milk on my cereal in the morning. But you might have to try a few different brands to find one that you like. They don’t all taste the same.
