Hail! Hail! …

Yikes. Quarter-sized hail. When the random “pink… pink…” became a rapid “thunk..thunk”, I dashed outside to move my car into the (detached) garage. Then I had to wait out the worst of it there before I could dash back into the house. These little beauties rolled in while I waited. Ain’t they purty?

Do you ALWAYS have a camera handy for just such occasions?

As I write this, it hasn’t even rained here. We’ve had some lightening and thunder, but that’s it.

Why, yes. Yes I Do. And someday soon, I’ll have a camera phone, too, so then no one and no thing will be safe! (Evil laugh.)

Yikes indeed. The weather guy made it sound like the worst of it was closer to downtown. I think he mentioned the term “walnut”.
