Pay attention. There will be a test…

Exxon Mobil is the world’s biggest oil company. It should come as no surprise that Exxon Mobil’s 2Q06 income was 36 percent higher than that of 2Q05, while also during 2Q06, U.S. retail gasoline prices were 30 percent higher than that of 2Q05. Exxon Mobil is the first U.S. company ever to exceed revenues of over 1 BILLION (with a B) Dollars PER DAY. It’s not just Exxon. The other oil companies posting financials are reporting revenue increases in a similar double-digit range.

Surely I can’t be the only person who can do the math. We’re getting screwed, ya’ll. Plain and simple. Elections are coming. Do YOU know who’s funding the candidates on your ballot?

    I noticed that

as soon as the quarterly figures were announced this year. Yes, anyone with a braind would understand what’s happening.

I would no more buy gas at an Exxon station than I would make a donation to the Westboro Baptist Church.

And so how much are, say, their executives making in relation to, say, their blue-collar workers? And with bonuses?

I SO much miss my old moped, totally worn out after almost 20 years of daily use.

This is why I wish we as a society would move away from oil. Why aren’t we harnessing wind power or wave power more? It’s getting cheaper and cheaper to use. What if we could do that? Think about the impact it would have. I told a co-worker yesterday that terrorism would drop off because the money would not be there anymore. Just another little side effect to reducing our dependency on oil.
