The cat has gone missing again. The furry wench flew the coop around 1:30 this afternoon. Nine hours later, she still hasn’t turned up.
The furry wench (aka CAT) went AWOL this evening. She disappeared around 5:30 p.m. Mike and I searched the block and one additional block in all directions, alerting neighbors and strangers alike that the cat was on the loose. Nada. Around 8:30, the furry wench banged on the door, demanding to be let in. She was muddy, limping, and completely unapologetic. I suspect she got cornered by another critter, or she stumbled into a storm…
I am literally watching paint dry. My homework for watercolor class consists of “glazing” 10 thin layers of paint, so that the finished product is a page of progressively darker stripes. The catch is that for the effect to work, the previous layer must be absolutely, perfectly dry. ARGH.
