Spinning my wheels….

Busy week, but I feel like I’m spinning my wheels.

The best news of the week is that the cat is adjusting to her insulin regimen. The vet will check her glucose curve tomorrow to see how she’s really doing. But overall, the grumpy old woman seems to be interacting normally. She’s still a little wobbly in the back legs, but she’s still jumping up to her sleeping spot on the couch. She won’t use the step I built her. Stubborn old woman.

News on the job front is mixed. On one hand, I had a good interview with a small company yesterday. The position would combine two of my skills sets, including one I enjoy using but which I didn’t think I could market. It would be fun to do. On the other hand, I had the second interview with the big company I really wanted to work for, but I get the feeling the exec had decided against me before I even walked in the door. Bah. I wish I knew why I keep failing the final exams.

Not much else to tell. I’ve been completely focused on cat, job opps, and loose ends. I have all this time on my hands, and I’ve got that same antsy feeling I get when I’m killing time waiting for something to happen.

Fingers crossed for you! Would you like a voodoo doll? Might help after interviews…… ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks. I’m not sure the voodoo doll would help, but if you could see fit to aim some Jedi mind tricks at my interviewers…. ๐Ÿ˜‰
