For the record (no pun intended), I emailed my representatives in Washington. Senator Claire McCaskill (or someone on her staff, I’m sure) responded with a timely, knowledgeable acknowledgement of support. Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver (or someone on his staff) however, responded with references to a totally unrelated subject. Oh well. It’s good to know that at least Claire is paying attention.
